Ms. Deki Wangmo

Ms. Deki Wangmo is the member to the Bhutan for Life Board of Trustees representing the Department of Planning, Budget and Performance.

She assumed the position of Director of the Department of Planning, Budget and Performance in the Ministry of Finance in 2021. Ms. Wangmo adds to her professionalism, a scroll of 23 years of experience having squarely worked in the discipline of financial services and national budget. Prior to the current role, she served as Chief Budget Officer at the Department of National Budget.

In addition, Ms. Wangmo also served as Advisor to Executive Director EDS 12 representing Bhutan, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka at the World Bank, Washington DC.

In her academic growth, she holds a Masters in Applied Finance from the Queensland University of Technology (Australia) and has streamlined in the myriad of specialization in Economics, Finance and Business Management.
