Mr.Aniket Shah

Mr. Aniket Shah serves as a Member of the BFL’s Finance and Investment Committee (FIC). He is the Managing Director and Global Head of Sustainability and Transition Strategy at Jefferies, a leading global financial services firm. In this role, he leads the firm’s research and advisory initiatives for investors, corporations, and sovereign entities on energy transition and sustainable business strategies, as well as Washington Strategy efforts, advising clients on the intersection of public policy and investment decision-making.

Mr. Shah holds a Ph.D. in Economic Geography from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University. A strong advocate for sustainability and human rights, he serves on the Board of Directors of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and teaches as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
