2013 - Bhutan for Life conceived with early start-up funding
2014 - RGoB and WWF sign MoU to begin conservation and finance planning
2015 - WWF CEO Carter Roberts and former PM Tshering Tobgay conduct multi-city tour to present BFL
2016 - RGoB completes BFL conservation plan and former PM, TT delivers TED talk on Bhutan's commitment
2017 - BFL transition fund officially closes
2018 - From here onwards, Bhutan's protected areas sequester 2.6 million tonnes of CO2 annually
2024 - Wild tiger populations in Bhutan have increased by at least 20% over 2015 levels
2027 - 80% of households within Bhutan's protected areas have access to nature-based employment
2032 - BFL transition fund completes the RGoB assumes full responsibility for sustainable financing
